BMM Autumn meeting 2020 - Turbulent times: between bad faith registrations and online hassle

Spring turns into autumn and so does our Spring Conference turn into our Autumn Conference. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, this will become our very first online BMM Conference, to be held on Friday 27 November 2020.

Based on the strange times we currently encounter, we decided to opt for “Turbulent times: between bad faith registrations and online hassle” as an overall theme. During the event we will be ‘surfing’ from the traditional CJEU case law overview (which this time partly deals with judgments related to IP in an online context) towards a journey through competence and applicable law with respect to online IP infringements. Last, attention will be paid to the impact on our trademark future after the high-profile CJEU Sky vs. SkyKick judgment. We hope that we can provide you with at least some trademark and design-related certainty in these challenging times.
